Skills Network

After your initial diagnostic meeting, we will invite you to join the Clean Growth Skills Network. This provides access to useful online resources and brings SMEs together by offering a support network to share good practice - encouraging collaboration and peer to peer learning. Our network will include the below resources and events.

Online skills library


Online resources, including WoE Clean Growth Ecosystem map; industry blogs from supply chain leaders; case studies; and regulatory advice including how to apply for low carbon standards and green kitemarks.

Peer networks


Facilitated online peer networking to work collaboratively and find solutions to common problems. Empowering SMEs to drive the change necessary to ensure the future prosperity of the region and zero carbon ambitions.

Network events


Network events over 18 months, face-to-face in locations across the West of England. Agendas to include low carbon skills for innovation roundtables; peer network/supply chain breakouts; and industry guest speakers.

Skills for Clean Growth (SCG) is a free business support programme co-delivered by UWE Bristol and NatWest,

as part of the Workforce for the Future programme.


Workforce for the Future is being delivered on behalf of the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) and is
